Max Green is a reporter and producer with WBEZ in Chicago. He has a bachelor's degree in science journalism from Columbia College and plays in a band. He has reported and produced stories for FRONTLINE, NPR, Love+Radio, The Atlantic, Here and Now, WBEZ’s Curious City, WHYY’s The Pulse, and New Scientist. He is the project coordinator for Two Years: Diaries of A Divided Nation. His stories have been recognized with a first place National Headliner Award, a national Edward R. Murrow Award, and he was finalist for the Richard H. Driehaus Award for Investigative Reporting. He listens to a lot of podcasts and audio stories, plays a lot of chess, and hangs out with this dog quite a bit:
